In 2017, European venture capital bet on the so-called “Deep Tech” (which includes activities such as artificial intelligence, robotics or semiconductors, among others), as revealed by the data published by the information and investment analysis platform Dealroom.
Among the main trends detected when analysing the technological investments made in Europe during the past year through venture capital, Dealroom highlights that the invested amount was of €19,400 million, which represents an outstanding increase of 36% compared to the €14,300 million invested in 2016.
