During the first two months of this year 2018, Spanish airports accumulated a total of 30,780,207 passengers, 9% more than in the same period of the previous year, according to statistics provided by AENA.
The airport with the largest number of passengers was Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, with 8.04 million passengers and an 8.4% increase compared to January and February of 2017.
The second busiest airport was Barcelona-El Prat, which reached 6.09 million passengers, an increase of 8.7% compared to last year.
The third place in this ranking corresponds to the airport of Gran Canaria, which added 2.3 million passengers between January and February of this year after increasing by 6.8%.
