There are huge differences between the average amount of money that citizens from different parts of the world spend on buying a smartphone.
According to a survey carried out by the market research company GfK among several points of sale from 75 countries, people from developed countries from the Asian-Pacific area (including Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan) invest an average amount of $645 to buy an intelligent phone.
The second area in the world whose citizens spend more on buying a smartphone is Western Europe: $446 on average. On the other hand, in the US the average amount of money spent on a cell is $417.
The world average is $328 spent on buying a smartphone. China ranks a little above this average amount, $335. In Latin America, the average amount paid for a smartphone is $318.
