Gregorio Luri Medrano was born in Azagra (Navarra) in 1955, but has lived in El Masnou (Barcelona) since 1979. He is married and has two children and two and a half grandchildren. He studied teaching in Pamplona and he graduated in Education Sciences and holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona. He graduated with honours from his Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Sciences and obtained the Extraordinary Graduation Award in Philosophy. He has published fifteen books on politics, philosophy and pedagogy, among them: La escuela contra el mundo (2010), Introducción al vocabulario de Platón (2011), Erotismo y prudencia (2012) and ¿Matar a Sócrates?
