Big companies are the ones that make the most use of cloud computing. Thus, in 2018, 56% of European companies with more than 250 employees have purchased cloud computing services, compared to 23% of companies from 10 to 49 employees.
Nordic countries are the ones that most use cloud computing. Finland (65%), Sweden (57%), Denmark (56%) and Norway (51%) lead the ranking.
In the lower part of this ranking are Romania and Turkey (both with 10%) and Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina (both with 8%).
Spain, with 22% of companies, is four points below the European Union average.
The most used cloud computing service was email, followed very closely by file storage. The use of office applications is below this level, and with a lower use appear services such as financial and CRM applications.
