Barcelona’s architecture is still what tourists like best of their visit to the Catalan capital, rating it 9.06 out of 10, according to the latest data offered by Barcelona Turisme in its 2016 report.
Culture ranks second, with 8.74 points, slightly higher than the overall rating tourists give Barcelona in general, which is 8.68.
Entertainment is the third aspect tourists in Barcelona value the most, with a rating of 8.52 points. Then there is cuisine (8.37), the character and kindness of locals (8.36) and public transport (8.3).
Other elements that have been rated with over 8 points are Barcelona’s transport infrastructure (8.25), shopping (8.25), public safety (8.15), business hours (8.12), accommodation offer (8.02) and information and tourist offices (8).
Further down the ranking, but with over 7 points, are the noise level (7.03), air quality (7.53) and accessibility for people with reduced mobility (7.64). The city’s beaches are rated with 7.85 points.
This ranking offered by Barcelona Turisme takes into account the opinion of tourists who visited Barcelona in 2016, regardless of their accommodation.
